A Project designed for the Poland promotional gadget competition, organised by The Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
The Project of an umbrella in the shape of a sabre is destined for wide distribution and addressed to a young target group. It is designed as a practical gadget for any weather in Poland or even rain in London. It protects from rain and in summer, from the sun and talisman which ensure a serene complexion.
It is made using polish national colours with a graphic sign resembling folk motifs.
The Karabela was a famous type of polish historical sabre, a white, Polish weapon. It was a light and decorative accessory, worn at court and was the most precious item passed from generation to generation.
Today, the karabela is used during military parades (hence the name of the project).
